The Role:

We're building Subtrace: an AI-native layer that automatically captures tasks activity and reconstructs it as structured process data: tasks, workflows, bottlenecks, and automation candidates. No integrations. No manual modeling. Just a the data layer that understands work.

As our Senior Product Manager, you translate operational pain into product decisions. You sit between enterprise buyers (COOs, VP Ops) and engineering, and you make sure we're building the right thing, fast.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years in product management, with at least 2 years owning a B2B SaaS or enterprise product

• Strong intuition for ops-heavy buyer personas — you understand what a COO or VP Ops actually cares about

• Ability to go from discovery to spec to shipped without hand-holding

• Data-literate: you can define metrics, interpret results, and adjust without needing an analyst

• Experience shipping 0→1 products or features, not just iterating on established roadmaps

• Comfortable talking to technical and non-technical stakeholders without losing precision

Nice-to-have:

• Background in process mining, RPA, workflow automation, or adjacent spaces

• Experience in high-ops verticals: e-commerce, logistics, fintech ops, customer support, or similar

• You've worked at a pre-Series A company before

Responsibilities:

• Discovery: customer interviews, ICP validation, pain point mapping across target verticals

• Roadmap: ruthless prioritization against Phase 1 goals (process documentation, time-to-value)

• Specs: clear, opinionated PRDs that give engineering what they need — no more, no less

• Go-to-market alignment: work directly with the founder on positioning, pricing, and launch sequencing

• Metrics: define and track the KPIs that tell us if the product is working
